“Save The Senator: A Baltimore Revue” may become a full weekend!

The Friday, February 13th, indie rock fest benefit spurred by actor David Arquette’s MySpace blog entry early this year may grow into an all weekend bash! Sean Brescia of Clearpath Management,  promoting the event says,

This started as a single night bill but as we would have hoped, it is looking like its growing into a full weekend given the interest that is developing.”

Tickets for the Friday night lineup are currently set to include popular local headliners The Payola Reserve, Wye Oak and US Royalty in an evening of live music, film and performances.  Additional bands and the full lineup will be announced in the coming days.

As Saturday and Sunday become final (hopefully over the weekend) we’ll add those as well to [online ticket] page.

Those who want to ensure admission for the confirmed Friday event are encouraged to purchase tickets at the MISSIONTIX web site. Prices increase at the door!

Proceeds will assist The Senator’s transition into a community owned non-profit facility, offering a wide variety of live music concerts, HD simulcasts, films and special events.

  1. Awesome! Thanks for passing on the additional information. Tickets are cheap, too, which in this economy I guess is a good thing. I hope the Senator raises a lot of money, though. I just posted a documentary I found on YouTube to my blog. I’ll probably link to your footage of the community meeting at some point too. I’m trying not to put too much in one blog post. And I’ll definitely pass on the info about the concert. Yeah!
